Best Practices of Shree Rang Navchetan Mahila Arts College, Valia

NSS, Finishing School, Myriad activities of Udisha Club, Sports Events, Cultural Events, Women Empowerment (Self Defense Training) & Yoga are our regular practices. That help students in their physical fitness. We have indoor games facility too.

Our NSS Volunteers are enthusiastically performing the tasks such as Swachhata Abhiyan, Eye Camp, Sarvrog Nidan Camp, No plastic campaign, tree plantations and building up huts for remote tribal aera people.

We are conducting special NSS camp every year for NSS volunteers without gap.

Our NSS Team has adopted two of the villages namely Kanerav and Vitthalgam for nurturing and enhancing the rural area.

In 2010, our NSS officer represented Gujarat in Mega Summer Camp, Ministry of youth Affairs & sports, National Saving Scheme. Delhi from 19th – 30th September.

Faculty development programs, workshops, and seminars as well as workshops for students and faculties are arranged time & again. Recently on 17 February, 2019 National Seminar on “Modern Trends of Higher Education: India’s Superpower Status” was organized.

On 3 March 2019, National seminar on “Adivasi Language & Culture” was arranged in our Institution by Annual Conference of Adivasi Gujarat College & University Adivasi Adhyapak Mandal.

One day workshop on “ Spongy Cake & Chocolate Recipe” by Home-Science Department on October 26, 2021.

Celebration of Hindi Saptah and celebration of Guajarati Writer’s Janmjaynti & Nirwandin is our regular practice to acknowledge the students the significance of Regional Language (Mother tongue) and National language.

Under the banner of Hindi Saptah celebration, online quiz competition, essay competition, Doha and poetry reciting.

Under the banner of Gujarati Saptah essay competition, Poetry reciting and poetry writing competition arranged by Gujarati department every year.

Sanskrit Saptah is also celebrated to acknowledge students the culture & true heritage of our India.

Under the banner of Sanskrit Saptah celebration, online quiz competition, Shlock Pathan and Introduction of Self in Sanskrit language, Essay Competition and Sanskrit Lecture series are also arranged by Sanskrit Department so that students can speak in Sanskrit language.

Thalassemia and Sickle cell checkup, Anthropometric test is our regular activity of our Home Science Department.

For the guidance of large scale & small scale industry loan, Home science Department called NGO for guidance every year.

Logical reasoning with Math paper & Traffic Rules in India, G. K. for competitive Exam & Common Responsibility of Indian Citizens and self-awareness programmes and workshop on feminism are regular practices of our English Department.

Online quiz on “Fit & fighter India” arranged by English Department under the banner of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Finishing School Training Programme is an asset of the college. 50 students take part in it with enthusiasm & skill and learn the lesson of life skill, soft skill, English communication skills and employability. (80 hours training in two sessions)

Experts were invited to discuss on the topic like G.K, Competitive exams, Time Management & Stress Management, Positive Attitude and Presentation Skill under the banner of the Udisha Club every year.

Alumnae are also called for career guidance & competitive exams.

Patriotic song & dance competition, one -act play on our national leaders and pictorial show on the History of our National Flag are presented on 15 August and 26 January every year.

Annual function is our special attention under the banner of cultural events. Classical dance & prayer, light vocal music, traditional Garba (Arvachin & Prachin), monologue, Drama - One act play, humours play, absurd play, poetry drama, fashion show, puppet show and folk dance is part & parcel of our annual function.

  State level as well as national level journals and magazines like careers and related to employment news are made available to the students.

  All circulars and notification concerning the students are displayed on the library Notice Board.

  Employment news and news regarding common entrance tests and recruitment examinations is displayed on the library Notice Board.

  Information regarding academic programmes and socio cultural events in the others institutions / organizations is displayed on the library Notice Board.

  To take grievances positively as a part of working system as directive for improvement.

  To hear the grievances patiently to solve them.

  Optimistically work for an ideal grievance-free structure of administration.

  The institute is having SC/ST cell, Anti-ragging cell, Grievance redressal cell and Women's cell.

Our College results have always been higher than the average results of the University, as such, and securing University Gold Medal in different subjects consistently.
